It’s that time of year again for everyone to get prepared for the upcoming DMT Tournament season. Dixie Marine is now prepared to take your entries and give you your boat numbers for all our tournaments.

We are having a pre-season meeting on Saturday, March 22nd, at 4 p.m., at Dixie Marine, to discuss the rules for the 2008 Season. Dixie Marine will be providing food and beverages for all those that attend.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

• Any person, 18 years and older, that fishes a DMT Tournament MUST have a DMT Number. To obtain a DMT Number you need to contact Tina and complete a W-9 Form. Your DMT Number is your ID for the life our tournaments. However, it is your responsibility to contact Tina with any updated information (i.e. change of address, change of cell number, etc…­)
  
• You need to fish 5 DMT Tournaments to qualify for the next years DMT Classic Invitational.
  
• You’re permitted to have only 1 sub, per year, for each team trail, and still be eligible in our point system or you can fish by yourself and still be eligible. You must let Tina know of these situations, prior to the start of the tournament.
  
• All tournament entries must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. the day prior to the tournament. Adopt-A-Bass & The Billy Backman Super Tournament can be paid the night of the meeting.
  
• An additional $5.00 will be charged to you for EACH tournament you pay for by credit card. This charge covers the fees we incur.
  
• If for some reason you can not fish a tournament that you already entered, you can move your Entry to another tournament. You must let Tina, Dan or the proper tournament director know by 3:00 p.m. the day before the tournament.

• All Tournaments begin at first safe light. You are required to be on the water one hour prior to safe light, so that our tournament directors can check you in and inspect your live wells.
  
• To be eligible for our door prizes after each tournament, you must have a DMT sticker on the windshield of your boat. If you do not have a DMT Sticker, call Tina and she’ll mail one to you.
  
• Year End Point Leaders Win additional money: Central & East Team Trails win $1000 and the Seniors win $500. Plus the Point Leaders automatically get the 1st boat number, in their particular trail, the following year. Checks for our point leaders are presented in October.
