| Dan Hilton, DMT tournament director,
announced today that the date for the Billy Backman Ohio River –
Super Tournament has been changed to April
12, 2008. The tournament will be held at the Tanners
Creek Boat Ramp, Lawrenceburg, Indiana. First place – guaranteed
prize money will be $7,500.00 for the one-day tournament. Entry fees
per team are $180.00 plus optional $20.00 Big Bass Pot that is split
(2) ways 60/40%. Dan urged all fishermen to get their entries in early,
as boat position will be by date of entry received. |

Dixie
Marine’s 2008 DMT Classic Invitational Tournament will
be held on May 31, June 1, 2008. The tournament will be held in Maysville,
Ky. at the River Park Ramp. Six hundred fishermen competed during the
2007 season, with close to one hundred teams qualified for the 2008
Classic. A $52,000 Ranger Z20 boat powered a Mercury 225 Optimax engine
will be the Classic’s grand prize. 2008 marks the third year that
Dixie Marine will be giving away a $50,000 Ranger / Mercury boat package
at the DMT Classic.
To qualify for the 2009 DMT Classic, any two-man team has to fish only (5) five tournaments out of the eighteen total in the 2008 DMT season. Dixie Marine will also be giving away a $22,000 Ranger/Mercury boat package at the 19th annual DMT Adopt a Bass Tournament on July 5, 2008.
